My take:

What a great, unique book. The main character said it best: “As I write this account, one ordinary life…” The story was underlined not by a dramatic story of the characters in it, but rather by the Earth that had turned in to the ultimate enemy. Far from a light, summer read, I still could’t out it down. The dichotomy between such a high-level topic like the slowing of the rotation of the Earth paired with the storytelling of an 11-year-old girl made this story particularly interesting.
